Both Dogs Hunt(ed) wild birds approximately 100 days per year, in Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, Colorado, Kansas, Arizona.  Then field trialed in their spare time.

They are (were) pets first, then hunting companions, and field trialing partners. They have won on foot, and on horse back  running in the desert, prairie, midwest and woods.

Great pointing instinct, desire, and bottom.  They have wonderful temperaments.
